The Philippine Nurses Association Metro Detroit (PNA-Met D) is committed to advancing Filipino American healthcare — from education and mentorship to community service and professional excellence.

1 Provide scholarships to Filipino American nurses members that want to pursue and advance their career in nursing profession.
2 Provide continued nursing education in nursing, leadership and mentorship training.
3 Provide preceptorship and mentorship program to assist our future and current Filipino American Nurses.
4 Provide healthcare educations, and projects to the Filipino and American Community to promote health.
5 Foster and develop collaboration and partnership with the Filipino and American community and healthcare organizations to promote strong bonds.
6 Create a strong support network system for our future and current Filipino American nurses.
7 Create and develop leadership and mentorship programs for Filipino American nursing students to promote personal and professional growth.
8 Provide and develop support programs to Filipino nurses and their families who newly migrated to Michigan.
9 Provide charity to our Filipino and American Community.

Long-Term Goal

To construct a professional Filipino Nurses Association Healthcare Care institution to serve as health center, health care resources, and health care support to our Filipino American Community — and a place to gather and house the Philippine Nurses Association Metro Detroit.
